Try an LED light. I have one above my desk pointing to the roof. Plenty light and no glare. Also the globe uses minimal power and doesn’t get hot at all. Works plenty well considering how cramped. My work environment is…

Personally the only reason so many people use windows is that it comes pre installed on computers. I bought a new laptop with Vista. The thing chugged, not even able to play cs. After a quick downgrade to XP, now I am playing Dawn of war, CS Source etc. also I have recovered about 20GB of HDD space.
