Dae, glad that the little sod was brought to heel, so to speak. While in general that is just wrong, I find it particularly offensive that your art was plagiarized by some punk. Excellent handling of the situation, pity about your thread being done in as well. :? Keep it up man. Your work is envied ...
currently, only 8800 gtx's can be arrayed in tri-sli configuration, but it simply is not worth it. it has been noted that single cards achieve the same or near effect a few months down the line. i'd at max want to get two 8800 gt's hooked up, which is still cheaper than a single gtx, if im correct (...

your ram is recommended to slot in slot one, slots 1+2, or slots 1,2,3, +4. otherwise there is a warning of memory errors. better to go with one stick, as (A) 512 MB is just dinky nowadays, (B) you can slot another 1gig module in to make it dual channeled 2 gigs. dual channel is nice, but its won't ...

It's understandable about the lack of cash limiting the upgrade options. You do what you must - that seems to be about the best from what you have described, out of the options available to you. For instance, I am building up a system for my father-in-law as a birthday gift, but the board I am worki...

Hey there, that OCZ ReaperX kit is making me drool here a bit. So how would it work, Bazik? Looking to upgrade sometime this year, but currently local prices are rubbish, mainly for processors and ram. Are you going to be ordering throughout the year on demand, or is this more a once-off thing? What...

AS long as it's under 60 degrees you're still good, and ramping it up to that frequency on stock cooling is impressive, with impressive temps. A personal favorite of mine has been the Zalman 9700 - NT, been hankering to get one for a while now. Performance it's right up there, but also I personally ...

Prophecy is tending to be a bit overpriced lately, especially in regards to their RAM and CPU's - the 6400+ black edition is R2026.00 there, whereas at Sybaritic its R1819.00 - a huge difference. Plus the Black edition doesn't come with a boxed cpu cooler, so you can either slap on your old cooler, ...

The price increase vs. the performance increase on benches doesn't really make sense. For a 5% (say 7% generous) increase in performance, you pay about 20% + more (rough estimation, depending on 8800 GT price). Looks like the 8800 GT is still a winner for cost vs. performance as well. I'm eager to s...

State, your temps are fine, though they look to be slightly unrealistic, considering what kit you have. If it goes too high, chip fries. If it goes too low (A) you get condensation on your board and chip (board goes poof), (B) the thermal stresses from an electrical component running at sub zero tem...

There is also the possibility of trying to utilise 4gb ram on a 32-bit system, where the maximum windows can see is approx. 3.5gb max. Other members have had similar problems, and it came down to the 4gb. Try stick with 2gb, or get a 64 bit OS. Then it can address all your memory with no worries. Or...

What! Eating foodstuffs is heresy! For example, best use of peanut butter is to substitute it as thermal paste! Duh! Hehe or submerge your case in a combo of mayo and chutney, better smell and consistency than cooking oil! Plus you can dip your bread into your case, and possibly make toast as ...

Let me try..... Neon, the main problem with this is that, while it is an interesting theoretical exercise at most, the intent for its use is questionable, and doesn't sit well with members.
