M1ke Hey there M1ke. Me and DAEJAVOO were sitting the other day and talked about Ubuntu and he said the same thing you said about the updates. You have to remember that in Windows for instance you get updates but they are just for the OS itself, In Ubuntu we get updates for everything not just the ...

Xiphan I've used Sabayon for about 2 days and switched back to Ubuntu. I think Ubuntu is by far the best Linux distro for the end user or the beginner. It may also be due to the fact that I don't like KDE based Distros and would rather go for GNOME distros like Ubuntu. Sabayon does look nice but it...

Hey there guys. I only saw this threat now and decided to post a reply. I am first of all very sorry that Nomadic IT can not supply the goods at the prices we did. Unfortunately we lost one of our Distributors due to this venture and are busy talking to them about this. The thing is, when you sign u...

@ Nomadic2Duo - How are you guys going to be able to make this sustainable? I mean, making something like R30 off of every R1000 can't be worth the man power unless you are pushing tons of stock. This is just a service we would like to supply to the public. Nomadic IT does not make its income from ...

VIRUS

That my friend is a virus. Open your drive with explore. Then allow hidden files to be seen and you will find a autorun.inf file somewhere on C. Your Anti- Virus software probably deleted the virus but didn't delete the Autorun file cause it isn't a virus. Now every time you double click on your C: ...

I had the E61 for about 3 weeks before I took a swim with it in Margate. Now I have the E61i and I love the phone. I don't think you will have any bad experiences with it. You can also look at the E60 which is also a great piece of hardware.

I can not comment on that but i can however tell you that my experience with Benq screens aren't bad but not good at all either. The screens do not look as nice as the Samsung and the LG and their bleeding are very bad. In the same sentence I would like to say that the image quality is very good on ...

1. 1080p defined 1080p resolution--which equates to 1,920x1,080 pixels--is the latest HD Holy Grail. That's because 1080p monitors are theoretically capable of displaying every pixel of the highest-resolution HD broadcasts. On paper, they should offer more than twice the resolution of today's 1,280...

MrDevil 909 I think Mac is a lot more secure. But I think they mean with stuff like viruses, trojans and key loggers. I can't see that any company will ever succeed in creating a "safe and secure" browser.

What they normally do is they run a preview or advertisement from one PC and then split that signal to four or more screens. Then you end up getting a preview on a screen that doesn't run on its native resolution. And that is why you get the bad image quality on them. I have the 226BW s Panel and I ...

I think that would be enough. If you upgrade to new version of Kubuntu with all the fancy 3D eye candy. Then you may just want to go for another 1GB. But for now I think it is fine.

Alpha I personally don't think this board will have any problem handling the 22". I would however like to advice you that you will need a lot of RAM.

And don't expect the full potential of the screen on VGA. Otherwise I think it will work without any hick ups!
