Just because it has HDMI doesn't mean that it is HDCP compliant.

Although the T260 is HDCP compliant.

I always thought that they were hydraulic valves?
according to wiki it is.
According to wiki it is which one? Hydraulic or pneumatic?

Lemme check... I was sure they used airsprings...

edit: Ja, they are pneumatic.

Re: Formula 1 Thread

Well, there is Mclaren drivetrain and Mercedes power in the Brawn Cars... so you have something to cheer about!
It really goes to show though, that the most important element of an F1 car is the chassis and aero setup.

Re: Samsung 2333 sw or t220

Ok, I've had a little look at some of the monitors available... I know you're probably on a budget, but every now and again there is a situation that requires a little budget stretching. This is one of those situations! Sell a testicle if you have to. If you can raise the extra +-R1000 and get the S...

Re: Samsung 2333 sw or t220

Either of those cards should handle full HD fine. What is the rest of your system? It seems like the 23" is the way to go then, especially if you have your heart set on it. You may sacrifice some practicality with 16:9, but it is probably worth it if you are going to game. If it is possible, go...

Re: Samsung 2333 sw or t220

Full HD resolution can be a PC killer, and without a strong enough system you will have to run the monitor at a non-native res. So it all depends what you are going to be using it for, and how strong your system is. Running it at a non-native resolution will have poor picture quality. For games, I w...

Re: Advice on tv tuner cards and Media centre PC's

As far as HDMI goes, the nVidia cards also support it but without audio (unless that has changed). The audio part just means that you don't have to run a separate spdif or analogue cable, but people with high end soundcards (and budgets) will run audio cables anyway. The card I went with was the ASU...

Re: Advice on tv tuner cards and Media centre PC's

Just in relation to the graphics card choice, when I was building my media PC, the Ati Cards were better at HD video processing. This might have changed as I was comparing HD3xxx to 8series nvidia, the 8-series being the better cards at pretty much everything else. The other thing was that my system...

Screeper - I know what you are saying about the 'busy' side view. Each side of the bike is different though, the right side has gills (and the pipe) and the other side doesn't.

That triumph is one of my favourites.. a real beaut and a great bike too. This is BMW's S1000RR in road going trim.. At first I was not sure about the headlights, but after seeing a few more angles I'm now a fan. Its almost like a little tribute to the R1200S racebikes. I hate the green though, it'l...

Re: New BMW M8

By my calculations you would be losing your money at a rate of 22km per hour... this is a straight line after all. Just a quick question, where does it say that it is limited to 350km/h? The article says you can adjust the aerodynamics between high downforce or the topspeed of around 350km/h. And if...

Re: New BMW M8

Scavenger , Nope. The Zonda will beat a McLaren F1 with a firey log all day. The SLR doesn't have the top speed of the McLaren F1, yet it beat it around the Top Gear test track so... The Mclaren F1 will beat both of those in a straight line. That is what I said. These might help, if you need a refe...

Re: '09 GT-R Launch Control destroys gearboxes

re the acceleration times, if it can be done with launch control then I reckon it could done without it... it might only be once in a hundred attempts, but the laws of physics governing the car haven't changed. A driver could fluke the exact rev/clutch combo. What you think? *of course I haven't bot...
