Re: Reader's Corner
The world that Jacqueline Carey has a Venetian/ Mediterranean Renaissance feel to it, there is this dim and shaded atmosphere. Its here where we’re introduced to the main protagonist Phedre no Delaunay. As a child Phedre‘s sold into, the household of a nobleman where she is trained in history, theol...

Re: Kurozuka
I think the first episode aired last week
I’m not sure if the anime takes the same route as the manga but either way this is a very violent and graphic title.

I finished reading Medalon and Treason Keep by Jennifer Fallon and I could kick myself for not having the third book as well. It would seem that The Demon child Trilogy is her debut series, her style is reminiscent of a post The Riftwar Saga Raymond E Feist . Even though she makes use of Gods as cha...

Re: Naruto discussions here
It looks like there’s going to be a lot more action in Naruto in the coming months because Kakashi has just squared off against Pain and next we might see the Konoha teams versus Akatsuki. I wonder how long it will take news of the attack/assault to reach Naruto and how soon will he make it back to ...

Today I bought four books, Medalon and Treason Keep (the first two books in the Demon Child Trilogy)by Jennifer Fallon; plus Kushiel’s Dart and Kushiel’s Chosen by Jacqueline Carey. I think I’ll start with the Demon Child Trilogy tonight.

Faith of the Fallen by Terry Goodkind page 514 Richard stood in the center of the room, watching her; a puzzled frown creased his brow between his eyes. Nicci closed the distance to him. She was aware of the exposed flesh of her bosom rising and falling above the top of her black dress. Gadi had ju...

Temple of the Winds by Terry Goodkind (page 722/723) “I don’t understand what goes through that head of yours, Nathan. Lord Rahl indeed.” Verna glanced to where Clarissa’s body had been, and where now there was only white ash. “And I see that you haven’t changed your ways, Nathan. Once again you’ve...

Re: Reader's Corner
One thing I didn’t like about The Temple of Wind was that I share the same name as one of the villains. This was the very first time I’ve come across my real name in a book. Anyway, I see that a new series has started on Mnet, Women's Murder Club which I think is based on a number of books by James ...

Reminds me of History Strongest Disciple Kenichi My thoughts exactly I really recommend this manga, unfortunately only 14 chapters have translated so far. Just get a hold of the first chapter to see whether you’ll like or not. Before I forget Change 123 is not suited for people under the age of 16 ...

I’ve just finished reading The Temple of Wind by Terry Goodkind and I must say it felt like I was reading a lemon, the whole sexual aspect to this book was kind of creepy. I think Nathan stole the show with his chapters. I’m sad to see that Richard married Kahlan. I’m hoping to start reading Soul of...

I saw Babel yesterday, it wasn’t too bad but what I really liked was that the viewer was shown the “hairy scary monster” no less than five times.
